Flourish Education are currently looking to recruit for a Year 1 Teacher for after Easter to work in a “good” rated ofsted school in the Wolverhampton area.  This role would be a long term position with the option of going permanent if right with the candidate and the school.

This Year 1  teacher position is open to experienced teachers and ECT’s.

This school is based in the WEST of Wolverhampton in the Coven area and is a nice modern school with a strong SLT team and supportive staff team.

Responsibility of this Year 1 Teacher are:

• Year 1 Class teacher
• Full planning, marking and assessment required
• PPA time
• Assessments and reporting pupil progress
• Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff
• Attend CPD meetings
• Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems
• Full time position

Skills and experience required for this KS1 Supply Teacher role

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience of working in year 1
• Up to date curriculum knowledge
• Taking part and being present in staff meetings
• To plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons to the Year 1 class
• To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
• To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
