Flourish Education are working with a Secondary School near Selly Oak who are currently recruiting for a Music Teacher to join their team in September on a full-time basis on an ongoing/ temp to perm basis. Our client is a comprehensive school and sixth form that welcomes 11 – 18-year-olds from across Birmingham.
A successful candidate will join the schools expanding Music department working specifically across key stage 3 through to 5.
Whole class teaching responsibilities will be required alongside form tutor duties and continued professional development will be provided.
This Music Teacher position is starting from September 2022 and is a full-time, long-term position.

· QTS in Music (NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
· Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School
· Excellent subject knowledge of music
· A strong reference from a recent school
- Experience Teaching Music up to A Level
Responsibilities as a Music Teacher:
· Whole class teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
· Driving improvements in GCSE and A Level Music grade improvements
· Monitoring and ensuring pupil progress
· Encouraging improvements in Music GCSE and A Level results
