Flourish Education are currently working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school near Rubery who are recruiting for a PPA Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September. As an academy the school benefits from having lots of CPD opportunities and a wider staff team that provide support at all levels.

 

This PPA Teacher role will be spread across 2 days a week, these days are yet to be decided and the school can be flexible. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering classes across Key Stage 2, no planning is required in this role and planning will be left.

 

The school are seeking and experienced Key Stage 2 professional who has strong behaviour management skills and is able to be flexible on a daily basis.

 

This PPA Teaching position is a part time role to start September 2022 and is expected to continue until the end of academic year. NQT’s and ECT’s are encouraged to apply.

 

To apply to this PPA Teacher role, you will need the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience working across the Primary age range (KS2 Experience is highly desirable)
  • Deliver engaging lessons
  • High expectations of behaviour

 

Responsibilities as an PPA Teacher:

  • Cover PPA where needed from Y3 to Y6
  • To work alongside the class teaching assistant
  • To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
  • Create a positive learning environment
