Flourish Education are working with a small village Primary School on the outskirts of Worcester. The school is located in a residential area and has a great community ethos.

 

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Lower Key Stage 2 teacher to join the school on a temporary basis starting after Easter and running through until the end of the Summer term.

 

The position is full time for a mixed Year 3/4 class. The class is of mixed ability with higher than average number of children with additional needs. There are 2 Teaching Assistants in class to support children on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing teaching approach and be sympathetic to children with SEN. The candidate would be expected to plan, mark and assess as part of a class teaching role.

 

The role is starting after the Easter holidays and continue for the rest of the academic year. There may be a permanent opportunity for the candidate to continue in September.

 

To apply to this role you will need the following

•           Qualified Teacher Status, NQT’s are not considered.

•           Experience working in KS2

•           Passion for teaching

•           High expectations of behaviour

 

Responsibilities

•           To plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons to a mixed Year 3/4 Class.

•           To mark and assess all work completed

•           To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
