Education are currently working with a Secondary School near Brierley Hill that
are recruiting a Design Technology Teacher to start in January 2021. Our client
is seeking a teacher with their speciality being in product design, resistant
materials, and 3D art to cover a staff absence across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The
school has around 1,600 students aged between 11 and 19. In March 2016 and
October 2019, our client was graded Good by Ofsted. The school’s vision is that
they want to guide each student on the right pathway for them, learning today
to give them a better tomorrow.
This
Design Technology role is starting January 2021 on a full-time basis this has
the possibility to be a long-term role.
To
apply to this Design Technology role, you will need the following:
- QTS in Design Technology
(NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
- Experience teaching in a
UK Secondary School
- Experience teaching
Resistant Materials, Graphics and Textiles
Responsibilities
of a Design Technology Teacher:
- Whole class teaching responsibilities

pupil progress
