Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to start in September 2020 within a well organised infant school located on the outskirts of Walsall.

This consistently improving infant school located on the outskirts of Walsall boosts a dedicated and supportive senior leadership team along with an experienced staffing team who consistently challenge the pupils to reach their full potential. The role is due to commence September 2020 to cover a maternity leave until July 2021 on a full time basis.

You will be required to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 Curriculum and the ability deliver strong classroom management and experience supporting pupils with SATs is essential.
SLT are keen on candidates who are extremely passionate, creative and have good classroom management skills.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Hold QTS or NQT status
• A UK resident or eligible to work within the UK
• Able to demonstrate exceptional behaviour management
• Relevant experience with EAL, SEN, or ESOL children.
• Experienced in year 2 SATs
• Genuinely passionate about teaching
• Dedicated to uphold the schools rules and regulations

Responsibilities

As a year 2 teacher you will be expected to:

• Have up to date key stage 1 knowledge
• Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons to meet the National Curriculum standards
• Create an inclusive learning environment, differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all the children in the class.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with the school behaviour policy
• Utilise your class teaching assistant effectively to ensure all children make progress
