Senior Playworker - Level 3

Grade 2: £18,065 - £18,426 pro rata - Actual Salary - £8,580 - £8,752

Hours per week: 20.00 hours Monday - Friday 1.45pm – 5.45pm, term time only

Contract Type: Temp to perm

This role is working as a Senior Playworker on a part time basis Monday to Friday at a nursery in Selly Oak. They are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Play Worker who is able to take the lead with the day to day running of the club under the leadership of the Manager.  In particular we are looking for someone who has a high level of skills with EYFS who has an inclusive and child centred approach.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Level 3 qualification as a minimum
• At least 2 years’ experience working with EYFS
• A good team player
• Ideally you will have experience of stepping up in the absence of the manager
• Flexible and approachable

Responsibilities

• To report to the manager
• To plan, lead and run sessions for children within EYFS
• To follow the setting behaviour policy
• To liaise with parents and provide feedback
