Flourish Education are seeking an experienced Caretaker to work in a Primary School based in Pype Hayes, Birmingham from January up until the end of the academic year.

The school is looking for a Caretaker who can contribute to the ongoing improvement efforts of the school and will ensure that the school’s buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Lead on ensuring high standards of safeguarding and health and safety are maintained at all times.
•  Lead on supervision of the site, including dealing with contractors, managing waste.
• Have a good working knowledge of procedures such as Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Take a pride in their work and the condition of the buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with contractors
• Obtaining quotes for contracted work for approval by head teacher
• Dealing with any issues in a timely manner
• Managing fire alarm tests and evacuations
• Opening and closing the School
