Flourish Education are currently working with a Primary School set in a small village on the on the outskirts of Kidderminster. The school is small in size, with some mixed year group classes. The role is to work as a full time teacher in Key Stage 2, teaching the either the mixed Year 3&4 class or Year 5&6 class.

 

Flourish Education are working with the school to recruit for an engaging Key Stage 2 teacher on a fixed-term one year contract. The role is due to start in September 2018.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in leading maths and/or PE.

The school are looking for a candidate who is up to date with current teaching methods and that can provide an enthusiastic learning environment.

 

                                                 

To apply to this role you will need the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT’s are encouraged to apply.
  • Passion for teaching
  • Engaging teaching style
  • Up to date with the most current teaching methods
  • Experience in Key Stage 2
  • Y6 SAT’s experience is desirable.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children
  • Plan varied lessons with good content
  • Mark and assess all work
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both the staff and the children.
  • To effectively manage the behaviour of the pupils
  • Possible subject leadership of Maths and/or PE
