Flourish Education are currently looking for a Year 5 Teacher to join the KS2 Team at a smaller than average Primary School located in Stafford. This is a full time role that is due to start in September to cover maternity leave.  

The school itself was graded ‘good’ in their recent Ofsted report and boasts that the pupils have a positive and mature attitude towards learning. The proportion of pupils supported by the pupil premium is below average as is the children with the statement SEN.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A recent, strong teaching reference
• 2 years of work references
• Experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcome to apply only
• Good behaviour management
• Familiarity with the KS2 curriculum
• A positive, can-do attitude and approach

Responsibilities:

• To plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum standards

·         Have a strong understanding of the KS2 Curriculum               

·         Create an inclusive learning environment, differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all the children in the class

·         To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
