Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Year 6 teacher for a long term position in an Inner City Catholic School.

The school is a long standing school having been founded in 1930 and is part of a local parish. It is a bright and forward thinking school that takes part in a number of community activities and fundraising. The School was also graded as GOOD in its most recent OFSTED inspection.

The role is available to start in January 2018 due to the previous post holder being promoted.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils. 
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) NQT’s are encouraged to apply for this post
• Last two years of work references, one of which must be a teaching reference
• Experience in a leadership role within a school - Preferred

• Maths Lead – Preferred

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing lessons and work schemes.
• Plan, prepare and teach exciting, challenging and engaging lessons
• Assess and record learning carried out by pupils
• Evaluate attainment and progression of pupils;
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with the school behaviour policy
