Flourish Education are working with a large primary school and children’s centre based in the Backcountry region who are seeking a Deputy Head to join their Senior Leadership team to commence in September 2017.

The school is a 3-form entry Primary School rated “Good” by Ofsted receiving commendation on the strengths of the Head Teacher and the support of the Senior Leadership Team.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Qualified Teacher Status (NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
• Experience in working data and pastoral care
• References to cover the last 2 years of employment as a teacher

Responsibilities

As a successful Deputy Head you will be expected to:

• Managing data for the school
• Managing Pastoral responsibilities of staff and students
• Working in close partnership with other members of the SLT
• Provide mentoring to NQT’s
• Provide cover for absent staff
