Flourish Education are working with a Special School who are seeking a Principle to join their Senior Leadership team to commence in September 2017.

The school caters for children who have autism and communication difficulties.  With children ranging from 2 – 19 years of age. Rated “Good” by Ofsted receiving commendation on pupil engagement and the support of the Senior Leadership Team.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Qualified Teacher Status (NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
• Experience in working as a Deputy Head or Head Teacher within a Special School environment
• References to cover the last 2 years of employment as a teacher

Responsibilities

As a successful Principle you will be expected to:

• Managing Pastoral responsibilities of staff and students
• Working in close partnership with other members of the SLT
• Provide mentoring to NQT’s
